I don't like it at all. It takes away the mystery and watercraft of the whole sport of fishing. How boring it would be if people decide to start fishing like this using underwater cameras and just putting bait in front of them. Boring as hell.

What hook size did you use with the sweet corn?

We're doing this in Russia and other post soviet (CIS) countries with the lightest/thinnest fishing equipment possible. Called "мормышинг", used to be a on ice fishing method, but since progress stepped forward with the most delicate lines and rods, someone in CIS first tried it many years ago to catch small perches the most effective way possible during sport events to get tons of points (per fish caught). Later people realised that even the tiniest non-predatory fish can also be cought on the smallest hooks and artificial lures (silicone). Мормышинг is gaining a lot of popularity in our region, epsecially among big cities' public, because with this method you can always catch something in every puddle hehe, unlike throwing regular jig hundred of times without catchning anything most of the time. With мормышинг I've caught 12 species of fish in the closest small river, it's amazing. On still water, we're using mostly 0.2-0.3gr sinkers, rarely can go up to 1gr or so depenging on the conditions and target fish. Lines are either braids PE#0.08-0.2 or regular monofilament 0.05-0.1mm. The size of the fish Ginger Fisherman catshes with this method is astonishing, great job.

You should invest in a high capacity fast charging powerbank. They would charge those gopro batteries in no time. I use a 30800mAh, that's more than enough for your usage.

I won't pay the fees for fishing at clubs, their too expensive, besides I don't want to put the fish back, I want it on my dinner plate. Have been sea fishing which is great. Did go fishing in Scotland once Trout fishing where we were allowed to keep 2 if they were 10 inches long or more, lovely evening meal.

I always add just enough foam to lay flat but be easy for the pike to take in off the bottom I've watched them in shallow water doing as in the video I don't like baits with one end popped up

This fishing method was created in Japan for catching horse mackerel. Here I often use a 0.1g to 1g jig head and 1 pound fishing line.

I'd like to try that on fly rod some lures may work a lot better utilising linee weight instead of.lead shit or jughead's traditional fly guys would frown but it's all fun and it opens up more course fish catches I love carp on the fly I even got rubber maggot rig for roach love it

Its not the type of hook you use it's how you fish that matter I love to fish and ill use whatever I can get my hands on and I can afford so dont judge.

I feel so old listening to this guy describe coax. He makes it sound like it's some mythical technology from a lost time... it's also crazy to get a perspective on cabling by somebody who was born in a post WiFi era. All cables are copper. It's pretty much the connector and their diameter that gives them their name. The exception being fibre. As for the fishing itself, it's depressing to think this is the future of angling. The joy for me is targeting a species but never really knowing what you've hooked until you land it. Future generations will treat the sport like it's a computer game.
